kirsten is in a very chillaxed mood... :)

loving the holidays! they are one of the most splendid things ever invented, and bring happiness to us all (i imagine.) my holidays started weeks ago, but have had to wait for various friends to finish their so-called "study" and "exams." but now we're almost all done! one year of uni down, and 3 months of holidays to look forward to. the relaxed atmosphere of doing absolutely nothing, jumping into the pool fully clothed, and having o.c. marathons. yes, these holidays are shaping up brilliantly.
in exactly a week i am back to mundubbera. its going to be brillo for many reasons;
1. it is home. everybody loves going back home
2. i shall be reunited with excellent friends (and home cooked food)
3. it will be a lot easier to save money (given that there is nowhere to shop or go out :D :D)
i'm hoping to get back into some hobbies that i've basically given up since living on the coast, like painting and writing. it seems since i've been here, i havent been as dreamy as i used to. so definitely going back to my roots could be a good thing.
and then after some glorious weeks in mundubbera, i am moving right back into student accommodation to live with my girls and joshy!! lalalaaaaa...the idea is so enticing, i want to move in right now hahaha. cannot wait, they are all spectacular people :)

we all love music.

music. the language everyone speaks. the right rhythm, melody and lyrics have the power to connect to anyone. i have recently discovered so many brilliant songs, and i'm so glad i did. i think that in life, we gradually find songs that we find so enthralling and meaningful to us, and over our lifetime, these songs become the soundtrack to our lives.

back from a home holiday

back from a visit back home. i have stuck a mundubbera citrus sticker on the front of my car, which i think has an intriguing effect. for those who are equally intrigued by my car..yes . that would be it. it was soooo lovely to be back home for a bit..there really is no place like home, the place you were raised, the place which shaped your sense of being. :)
